Daughter of Marie & Nat King Cole, Natalie Cole was born today in 1950. She turned heads in the music world in 1975 with her single “This Will Be” (penned by Chuck Jackson & Marvin Yancy). Cole was derailed by personal demons for years but made a stunning comeback in the 1990s. She passed in 2015.
