German election hottake: as an environmentalist, I want the BSW to hit the 5% threshold, which would force the CDU into a 3 party government with the SPD and greens which combined would have 194 seats, basically equal power to the CDUs 197. 2024 with even popular vote (every state uniformly shifts 1.7% to the left) PA, at R+1.7 could be 2000s florida close. If dems win the 2028 PV, they would likely win the presidency.

Completely in hindsight, dems probably should've purposely sacked the 2022 midterms to Republicans so they could blame them for everything. If they weren't gonna win both chambers it'd be better if they won neither.

Brightside: CA, WA, OR, and CO are still at only ~95% vote in, the remaining mostly left in liberal areas while trumps at 50%. IMO, there's a solid shot that vote breaks enough for harris to pull trump down to 49.9, erasing a majority of voters' narrative/mandate.

I knew if that fight was drawn out paul would win the long game, but they could've ended that round 5 and Paul would've won. Props to tyson for taking the first two rounds, if paul played more head on at the start he would've been knocked out.

Not controversial, but politicians, esp dems, SUPER esp young progs, should just be playing video games. AOCs like the only one who semi consistently does it and its kinda wild that's not more of a thing.
