Though I still can't quite believe it, I'm still waiting for another desaster around the corner bc I'm so used to be on the edge, alerted and tense. :')

Glazing in watercolour is time-consuming. Though that's perhaps a redundant explanation, given that everything is time-consuming when I attempt it. 😮💨🙁😑

Did a little doodle in my sketchbook at work and it's Eli and their (grand)mother-figure/caretaker where they grew up. They call her Babcia and she's very small (152 cm).
She refers to Elis appearance when she calls them star-crossed or child of night, and also comments to their affinity of birds.

They always sleep balled up (sometimes squeezing their friends in).
It's a habit from sleeping outside most of the time, and makes them feel at ease.

Little book haul 😊 (I'm buying such titles mostly second hand or as faulty books so they're heavily discounted bc lately, the prices for new hardcover titles scare me.)
