Being a butcher, I was at stores where I would be the main cutter. I’d get home and my hands would be in so much pain, I couldn’t draw shit. Even the mental energy needed to write was exhausted. I honestly feel part of being a cartoonist is finding a day job where you can 1/2 ass, 1/4 ass infact!
I've always wondered how other artists work day jobs then draw.

When do chores get done? When do you work out? When do you sleep? When do you relax?

Having a partner who does chores too makes a world of difference for me.
