Photographed a LOT of handsome salticids in Costa Rica, but these Anasaitis canalis males were the fanciest! ✨💙 Very difficult to shoot - not just tiny - but super skittish too!

Spring wildflowers are out in the Great Smoky Mountains. This week, I saw showy orchid, fringed phacelia, iris, and much more. Porter's Creek Trail has many of them. So pretty!

Just finished the audiobook for Entangled Life by Merlin Sheldrake, narrated by the author himself. Fantastic book about #fungi! Learned so many things on how fungi influences us. And now I know Lagotto Romagnolo dogs exist and they're great truffle hunting dogs. 10/10 would recommend #books
