Thanks, Christoph Rosche @unihalle.bsky.social, for visiting us last week! Christoph gave an inspiring seminar on how herbarium specimens help address questions in evol. ecology, with a focus on conservation & invasion biology. His visit ended with great discussions over dinner with our group.

So happy that Junhee @junhee-jung.bsky.social defended his thesis @unituebingen.bsky.social! Note the knitted DNA tie, the discarded (a.k.a. garbage can) sequences on the hat, and the PhD-themed cookies. Niek @plantevoeco.bsky.social, Eric Kemen and Kyle @kylemojo.bsky.social asked great questions!

Schönes Video mit unserem AG-Alumni Niek, der dem HR erklärt, warum Buschwindröschen & Co. immer früher blühen, und was das für Konsequenzen haben könnte.
