A dictatorial Executive employing discredited managerial techniques to bully a demoralized workforce. Proleterianised academics having to massage grades to fulfil pointless KPIs that will produce a generation of students with discredited degrees.

The shooting at a Catholic School in Minnesota yesterday was horrendous. But it says something about the USA that the Catholic Bishops have found it necessary to create and publish a specific litany to be prayed after a school shooting www.catholicnewsagency.com/news/266199/...
United in prayer: A litany to be prayed after a school shooting
In times of tragedy, the Church turns to prayer. Here is a litany written specifically to be prayed after a school shooting.

My new book on the theology of dementia has now been published by Wipf & Stock 🎉😁🎈

I've spent the last 25yrs slowly committing more and more to things that have grown less and less important to almost everyone else during the same period—

This was taken at Stupid O'Clock in the morning at St George's Worcester. We haven't had 24-hour Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament there in my memory, but it's great to see the practice coming back. It's hard to explain what makes it so special, but it is.
