Hopefully this movement will take NVIDIA closer to open source tools and development, a movement that Intel has been pursuing lately. This is my Pollyanna side speaking. My more realistic self is more afraid that Intel will take the dreadful CUDA route.

I asked many AIs today to write a Julia function to compute the roots of a 2nd degree polynomial. All of them used Baskara naively, presenting an unstable version. Only GPT-5 added a note at the end that the code was unstable (and a regular user would ignore this). Those things are dangerous!
