Image of the guitar body I purchased... a gray glitter base, but then I added the navy blue and orange stripes to it. After installing the tail piece/bridge, I mounted the pickups, soldered in a ground plate and electronic components. Then installed the pick guard. An overhead view of my work bench and the bass guitar I was building for my brother... photo inset image of the view down the headstock, tuners, and the rest of the guitar. Image of the finished project. I'm proud of how well it turned out and that my brother said it's his favorite bass guitar.

With my basic camera with only a pop-up flash and skills to match... and a warehouse studio that had fluorescent tube lighting all across the studio ceiling, colors are tough to adjust just right, so converting to b&w is the simplest way for me to be OK with the image. I built this Les Paul guitar back in early 2017 using quality parts. I didn't want to spend big bucks to own one, so I built it. Not a luthier because I order and assemble, but there is still a good amount of work that goes into something like this. #lespaul #customguitar #ibuiltthis #myguitars

One of my current projects is building a couple faraday boxes... one for my brother. These are large enough to hold laptop PCs and various other electronic devices. Still have a lot of work to do, but the boxes are built and sanded. #faraday #protective #electronics #rfidshielding #emp #diyproject
