... and this is why the oil and gas industry needs such huge subsidies and tax breaks and to not be required to clean up their messes, boys and girls.

It's our house. We have many differences, we hear about them daily, but we have more common ground than we realize. We are Canadian, we want good education for our kids, and we care about quality healthcare. #abpoli #ableg #alberta #ABresistance

Truth served to the conservative party in power in Alberta. Shame on them to see students spilling out of their schools to march to the legislature on behalf of their teachers.
I'm calling it
There will definitely be a teachers strike because the UCP aren't negotiating
They just pushing lies and propaganda

When the UCP would rather spend millions on ads attacking teachers rather than putting that money towards education, they are the problem

NSAIDs (which many pregnant women will now take instead of Tylenol) are associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular events like heart attack & stroke. Pregnancy-associated SCAD is also a leading cause of heart attacks during pregnancy & postpartum. NSAIDs increase SCAD risk. I am concerned.

To be clear, there are no data that provide a link between short-term use of Tylenol during pregnancy and autism. In fact, one of the best prospective studies w/ sibling controls, if anything, pointed to a protective effect for use less than 7 days

Guess they think they know who exactly is at highest risk 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️
I hate this government - experimenting with our health!
The fall immunization program will help protect those at highest risk of severe outcomes from COVID-19.

Eligible Albertans will receive the vaccine free of charge. Other Albertans will pay a fee of $100. Learn more www.alberta.ca/release.cfm?... #Alberta #ableg #abhealth

Has anyone else in Alberta or Canada been getting a lot (2-4x/day) of unwanted ?spam calls from the US in past few weeks? I don’t answer & they don’t leave messages. I block them all but they keep coming. It is getting very annoying. I can’t help wonder if it is related to the Alberta 51 campaign.

💲meant for infrastructure & HCWs is being misappropriated by Smith’s UCP.

Her UCP divert public funds to be private managed by UCP friendly corps, with as many unqualified UCP appointees as possible in exec admin.

AB needs a public audit of every dime in fed health transfers & AB taxpayer funds.

It amazes me how many people have no idea about the size of their so-called reorganization and what it has cost us with zero dollars going to the front lines.
"Chaos" is exactly right.

In 2018, AHS was ranked top 5 most integrated health system in the world. Now instead of one system, 5 million Albertans & 16 thousand health care workers have to navigate:
❌ 4 agencies
❌ 7 health corridors
❌ 1 integration council
❌ 14 regional councils
❌ ... +?

Health groups are mobilizing behind the scenes to preserve access for vaccines as Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. works to upend the nation’s decades-old vaccine system, according to public health experts.
The plan to vaccinate all Americans, despite RFK Jr.
The extraordinary effort to create a parallel system of recommending and perhaps even providing vaccines faces major challenges.

What’s next, patient fees for that screening blood test or flu shot or mammogram or childhood immunization? Because all of those things are preventative healthcare staples too and all of them keep Albertans out of the hospital or get them early treatment so they can survive.

They also SAVE MONEY.
The Alberta Government is framing their abdication of public health measures as fiscal responsibility.

It is far cheaper to give someone a vaccine than to keep them on a ventilator.

Denying vaccines is one of the most most financially reckless things a government can do.
