We all should be looking to @nicoleponsford.bsky.social today and one of the largest ever study on Inclusion. It's a shocking but for some of us unsurprising read. We have a issue apprently across the board.

Been thinking a lot about how difficult it is for ADHD folk to lay down habits and practices purposefully, and how these habits and practices are a double edged tool. When working they can help you keep going consistently, or can get you started when direction is otherwise lacking /1

Great meeting yesterday with my adhd coach. If you've not got one, apply through your work, through DSA or ATW and find a good one.

Looking forward to presenting my paper on how libraries can support inclusive dialogue around open research, moving beyond a focus on ‘open science’.

Writing up some thinking about methods for my #PhD. Just decided that I'm going to see how many @billybragg.bsky.social lyrics I can sneak into my thesis. Oh well, at least #amwriting.

It still astonishes me that more people in politics and our media pretend to be concerned about kids having missed school than kids having been killed or sickened by Covid.

IMPORTANT: Study finds electrifying SUVs/pick-ups could actually INCREASE emissions by using up scarce battery material that could otherwise be used to electrify a lot MORE smaller cars (and e-bikes). Via @sciencedirect.bsky.social

Again. Autistic people can be terrible people. NTs don't have the solo right to being awful person.Using it as an excuse when someone has no autism diagnosis or doesn't identify as autistic ( his friend, not him saying this) is outright insulting He's just awful, autism is no excuse. Stop it.
People need to stop using being autistic as an excuse for being an arsehole. It just embeds misleading stereotypes.
Yes, being autistic can mean you find social interactions difficult, I know I can.
It doesn't mean you default to walking around with a sock on your c**k.
