I have just turned 60 years old. Seems impossible. In my mind's image of myself, I think I'm somewhere between 15 and 20. Still feel like I have a lot to learn, still have so much to do, still have yet to leave a trace. Everyday, I feel the decline grow. This is now a race to do before I can't.

My Interbay music project is basically just me shouting into the void--but, on occasion, the void shouts back.

TODAY IN VULNERABILITY: I am a Patreon patron of a few of my favorite content creators (who all hate the term "content", I'm sure.) One of them just posted something new, and I eagerly devoured it as soon as I found it. And it was great, as always.

...but, I noticed a small inaccuracy in it.

Since January 10th of 2023, I've been making and producing music under the name Interbay. I posted 140 tracks with videos on Facebook until May 2024, since then I've posted a new track every day (so far!) on SoundCloud.

...and my current dependency on other people telling me what to do is definitely a problem.

It was easy for me to ditch Twitter when Musk got his mitts on it...but now I wonder how long I can justify staying on Facebook, with Zuck's latest cowtowing to OrangeManBad.

Can I make BlueSky my main? (I certainly "know" more people on FB still.) Thoughts?

Once someone has worked in radio as an on-air talent (what we used to call "announcers" and less accurately "disc jockeys"), you develop a lifelong aversion to letting dead air last more than a second.

Perhaps that's why I feel obliged to post something, anything, to erase "No posts yet" ASAP.
