Hahaha, I love this photo of a snake nerd researcher from the Phoenix Herpetological Society using a fake leg to step on rattlesnakes & see how likely they are to bite. He "stepped" on 175 of them, and was bitten by only SIX. Snakes desperately want to just get away! 🐍🧪

Good ocean news that a legal effort to overturn a ban on bottom fishing gear in 87 areas of the Atlantic continental shelf has failed.

These areas are now closed to all bottom trawling and dredging as well as bottom set longlines, gill nets and pots.

Parce qu'il ne s'arrête jamais, le Sénat et sa majorité droitière préconisent de supprimer purement et simplement le Conservatoire du Littoral. Organisme qui a notamment permis d'éviter de nombreuses betonisations et œuvré pour la préservation de nos côtes.
