He’s right.

Nutshell: the more clean energy you pull off the grid, the more you have to go “up the stack” of more and more expensive polluting units, which sets the grid price, which consumers pay.

Bigger bills are a direct result of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which cut green-energy subsidies.

This is insane. Many people will die because of President Trump’s HHS and their anti-science opinions on vaccines

The One Big Beautiful Bill reads like it was written by the Chinese Government. No actual patriot could possibly vote for it. And yet, 50 Republican Senators just did….

People need to hear and understand this…
“There isn’t going to be a gas fired generator any time soon,” Tillis said. “You can’t get that online and the same time that [renewable] pipeline’s going down.”

First time GOP opposition over this made public in Senate debate on the reconciliation bill.

Seems like maybe they shouldn’t do that. Thanks for the accurate headline NYT…could also add that it will screw the climate and every non-rich American….

I do believe that budget bills are true statements about a country’s values. This Big Beautiful Bill is big. But it is also ugly and gross:
June 13, 2025 at 1:12 PM
Exactly
The Trump admin's cuts to (competitively awarded! hard won!) grants and loans for research and deployment, combined with Congressional Republicans' planned devastation of tax incentives, are poised to forever cede American energy and industrial innovation to the PRC. And we'll all be poorer for it.
By far the most interesting bit: Chinese cement conglomerate Sinoma's CEO Zhu Bing talked about their innovations, having other CEOs gasp and take pictures every time he flipped a slide.

Sorry to say, but U.S. DOE cuttings funds from the likes of Brimstone & Sublime is an epic economic own goal.

Personally, I think it should be front page news for at least a month if a sitting US President is using falsified evidence to try and deny due process to a man who has committed no crime, but that’s just me

this is great and gets to what might be the defining attribute of this administration which is that trump himself is barely aware of what is happening
One thing that most people are missing in the group text scandal: The Trump officials don’t appear clear on what *exactly* Trump approved, which is a huge problem in using military force. Stephen Miller says “as I heard it … green light.” 😱😬 www.doomsdayscenario.co/p/six-short-...
