I miss the good old days when, if you mentioned the possibility that the USA would annex Canada, people would laugh nervously and start backing away looking for the nearest exit.

TV seems to be having a disturbing trend of dumbing down good shows for cheap laughs and drama. The Diplomat went from smart political to bombastic relationship soap opera. Nobody Wants This went from quirky comedy to a weird amalgamation of Bad Sisters and Mean Girls. Bina is right about Joanne!

Reading a story on the Ceeb about how the USA is photographing and fingerprinting all Canadians entering the USA. Europe is doing it too, with the EES system rolling out on all external border crossings. Biometric security, makes total sense, except it just seems more nefarious when the USA does it.

DHL, which for me, is up there with UPS in a tie for the world's worst courier company, attained an insane level of detail for my package from the UK, all the way through customs, right up to the point, yesterday morning, when it apparently dropped off the face of the fucking earth!

Has everyone got enough adapters? Micro, mini, standard, ultra-mini. I thought everything was going to be wireless in the future? Everything you buy comes with another cable or two and won't work until you connect it to another fucking app.

Discovered, to my horror, that Seamaiden had never watched "Miami Vice," so we started from the beginning. The scripts, direction, and acting are so cartoonishly over the top, especially from this guy, I'm amazed it made it past season 1.
