Honestly loving this so far! I’ve seen others put a wee descriptor here so here goes mine. I’m Peter, I’m a teacher in an SEBN school in West Lothian and I’ve worked in various alternative provisions for almost 14 years. Before that I was a mainstream PE teacher in Edinburgh. I grew up in Edinburgh,

This is a President who skipped a World War One commemoration because it was raining talking to one who has stood in front of a fresh mass grave of his own people.

I've read a few times how Russia won't accept European peacekeepers on Ukrainian soil. First, its not up to them as its not their country. Second, Ukraine and allies should not accept Russian troops on Ukrainian soil, including what has been occupied during Putin's illegal war!
Minerals deal was our idea, says Ukrainian official as Zelensky expected to meet Trump - live updates
Details of the US-Ukraine deal are still to be confirmed - meanwhile, drone strikes by Russia and Ukraine continued overnight.

Have these clowns never watched films or read comics about evil manipulating useful, powerful idiots? Pretty much all the pictures from this even show who is really in control and where the power lies! uk.news.yahoo.com/trump-victor...

Since moving 8 years ago, I’ve loved staring at the sky at night. For my birthday my awesome wife got me a telescope, last night was the first time playing with it and I managed to get this on my phone. Delighted with it!

Great explainer, Musk cares about power, like all fascits through history.
Is Elon Musk an Asshole or Is He a Nazi?
These are not mutually exclusive options.

Mariann Budde, the Episcopal Bishop of Washington, just spoke truth to power in one of the bravest speeches I have ever heard, yet all she really did was ask the new US President to have mercy on those in need. That shouldn't require bravery, but it did. It sets an example that others must follow.

Education Friends - does anyone know of any vacancies or supply work coming up for a Secondary History teacher? He is willing to travel basically anywhere and work in any context or role. Current post is finishing unexpectedly early due to a secondment ending prematurely.

King Charles inherited £650m tax free, gets £125m a year tax free from the tax payer and has an estate worth £22bn that’s never taxed.

But he still needed a 45% pay rise.

Like if he needs a pay cut.
RP if you want the Monarchy gone.

The geek in me was delighted today that Empire: Total War was released on mobile. One of my favourite PC games, the ports of previous total war games to mobile were fantastic so can’t wait to play around with it and practice being and 18th century General and Admiral

I wonder what the jail terms will be for the unlawful protest…
If you bring central London to a halt in order to campaign against catastrophic climate change then you're a "barmy" eco "fanatic" who deserves to be locked up.

If you do the same to hang on to your multimillion pound inheritance tax exemption then you're a brave freedom fighter defying the odds
