I’ve learned a lot from Krugman over the years. What a run.
It baffles me that people are surprised at a declining population, which has been happening since 1963. I am not a natalist but we have so vividly focused on fiscal prosperity and not built good state frameworks for parents—doesn’t a declining population improve our chance at species sustainability?
