Jonathan Freedland finally says it:
Britain is drowning bc there’s a Brexit-shaped hole in the roof and Labour refuses to fix it.

Reeves can juggle taxes but nothing improves until we face the truth.

We’re poorer bc of Brexit. We stay poor if Labour protects it.

The autumn budget will mop up some damage, but the true source of the economic crisis is clear. The government should now fix it – tragically, it won’t, says Guardian columnist Jonathan Freedland

Recently there's been a coordinated effort by some to talk down London, because it suits their political agenda. The truth must hurt for them - because London has once again been crowned the greatest city in the world.

If, like me, you love London, then my message is this:
London proves progressive cities work. No wonder some politicians hate that, writes Sadiq Khan | LBC
We must stand up and defend our liberal, progressive, caring capital

It is painfully and astonishingly obvious that to correct course we need a few simple things.

A wealth tax followed by gradual tax rises for the wealthiest.
Nationalisation of industries that should never have been privatised.
Reform of Voting.

Scotland and Wales must decide their own paths too.

So much pettiness by the Labour government. My dear friend who lives with MND waited 3 years for a new Motability car while his old car was a literal bone shaker (believe me, I drove it). 3 bloody years it took to get a new one because ‘there’s no funding’. Well - there’s even less now

More than 15% of people who voted for Brexit are dead.

Only 4% of people who voted against it are.

It is time for another vote, even if opinions haven't changed, they would lose 55-45%
