Absolutely true!
Having a good professional reputation and being known and liked at your jobs is a solid investment. I can't tell you how many opportunities I got from former coworkers moving on to other companies and when they need to hire someone I'm one of their first calls even years later.

What worries me is that most Americans will simply ignore what is being done in Washington over the next couple of years. They'll turn on the football game, watch an episode of the Real Housewives of Someplace, and ignore it as fundamental freedoms and crucial institutions are carved away.
