Anna Politkovskaya, Boris Nemtsov and Alexei Navalny

Their names we know

Countless, countless others are not known to us

Such murderous impunity

I believe Navalny’s death to be murder.

A giant “fuck you” to the West as leaders gather in Munich.

Remember, they tried to kill Navalny before, very openly, very brazenly. Now they simply have plausible deniability.

We should make sure Ukraine defeats the criminally insane Russian regime.

Please help me finish my Safe Skies project. It funds a passive drone detection system, one that is already protecting four Ukrainian regions and is now being extended to another four.

Not the news to wake up to.... damn ...
Andre Braugher was a giant, as capable of being the most intense dramatic actor TV had ever seen as he was of being among its most sublimely silly comic performers. I wrote about Frank Pembleton, Raymond Holt, and everything in beween:
Andre Braugher Played Two of TV’s Greatest Cops. But His Family Came First
Star of ‘Homicide’ and ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine,’ who passed away at the age of 61, could do it all, and would then race home to his loved ones.

Given I was a bit useless at first in the military in my brief career, Braugher's character in Glory was one of my favourites. Comes through in the end when it counts and even saves the man who had been bullying him. Sad to see he has passed so young.

Always appreciate Johnny Liew's work and this is a thoughtful and troubling article.

While Barton’s empty intellectual shtick was just that, his misogynistic rants are symptomatic of something more sinister
