CDC to Americans: drop dead
The CDC has turned off its vaccine search tool.

The vaccines.gov site now gives an error when you enter a valid zip code.

They also removed text saying “Vaccines can help you stay healthy” and added a banner saying the site is being updated.

Xi knows now is the time to get concessions on Taiwan. Trump will sell Taiwan for a red carpet and some soybeans, but still has the power and sway to defend a bad (for US and Taiwan) deal, at least with the Republican Congress.

That window is closing soon, certainly by the midterms if not before.

Trump just basically cratered Apple's business model.

Apple announced a previously planned $500 million investment so Trump could claim credit, and then donated $1 million to Trump's inauguration comm.

Apple showed weakness to a mobster running a protection racket.

Never show weakness.

Ha, the Trump Administration calls its tariff plan "Make America Wealthy Again."

A little problem: America has never been wealthier than it is today.

"Open to interpretation...." ?!?!

I bet its open to interpretation. What a clusterf...

Its just a huge black box to let Trump pick winners and losers.

Many opportunities to let Trump wet his beak, and prosecute his grudges.

MIKE JOHNSON: Look, you have to trust the president's instincts on the economy

What makes the incompetence so much worse is the absolute refusal to ever admit a mistake.

This administration can never improve or correct anything when Trump's personal narcissistic inability to admit error infects the entire administration.

Why does Trump:

1) attack allies and destroy the economic, cultural and military ties that make the the NATO alliance so strong;

2) eliminate the US' soft power tools such as USAID, VOA, and Freedom House;

3) seek economic ties with Russia when Russia has nothing the US needs?

He's a traitor.

EU Population: 449M -GDP Per capita: 43k USD

Russia Population: 147M-Russia GDP Per Capita: 15k USD

Roughly 3X as many people, 3X as wealthy

Why trade good relations with the EU for good relations with a much smaller, poorer country whose principal exports we have plenty of.

It defies logic.

(1/3) I'm no international diplomat, but it looks to me as if Trump is totally bungling this Ukraine-Russia peace deal thing.

Such an obvious sham.

There will be no library, the entire Trump family is banned from creating or operating nonprofits in the state of NY because they used theirs as a self-enrichment vehicle.

They'll do the same here.

The library will never happen and the $$$ will disappear.

If you are a low-income person in the USA, one month of Trump Admin.'s policies are hitting you with a triple wallop:

1.) Tariffs on imported groceries, clothing, gas, medicine,

2.) Cuts to nutrition assistance & health care, you pay more, and

3) End of medicine price caps.

Every single United States taxpayer is about to fall victim to a pump and dump scam, even though none of them bought anything.

Our President is going to do it to us, on our behalf.

What a stupid, low-rent grifter.

A US crypto reserve takes taxpayer dollars and gives it to speculators and grifters who supported Trump in the election.

Crypto is a pyramid scheme, it has no intrinsic value, generates no income, interest or profit.

This is the biggest taxpayer ripoff in our nation’s history.

Former Goldman Chairman Jim O'Neill makes some persuasive points about the potential for Trump's approaches to trade and foreign policy to backfire spectacularly on the US, and more importantly US consumers.

The problem with Trump's Make America Great Again Thesis; by any standard measure America is already great:

"The average American household’s income is far above that of any other country with more than 50 million people. [The USA] accounts for between 15% and 26% of global GDP."
