So many examples of lives saved by TEE in cardiac arrest @Jose_Diaz_Gomez . PEA arrest for 20 minutes before ROSC. Called for TEE. Refractory shock. Quick identification of RV failure and clot in RPA. Received 50 mg tPA. Extubated 24 hrs later.

Diuresis argument: Increased O2 req&resp distress, #POCUS -diffuse B-lines in all lung fields w/ smooth pleural line, LVEF 40%, E/e' 30, RIJ @mandible at 45 degrees, IVC greater than 2 cm, PV 100%, phasicity, intrarenal veins monophasic; however, the mouth is dry as a killer counterargument 🤦♂️🤷♂️

Highly stimulating Critical Care Ground Rounds at AAH St. Luke's Milwaukee by Dr. Glenn Hernandez. Fascinating discussion on hemodynamic coherence in septic shock and the dynamics of parameters in the evolution of septic shock. Perfusion without congestion. Don't have to swell to get well.
