Please sign this petition. It doesn't matter that the government's initial response states lamely that the right to transition is already enshrined in UK law. If the petition reaches 100k and gets debated in parliament we can lobby MPs to ask questions as per the OP. MPs are beginning to wake up.

Reform is a protest party (that isn't entirely sure what its protesting against any more) that is run on the whims and hot air of a man who wanted to leave the EU to get cardboard passports back. We should not be in this situation, but we are, and Labour needs to confront not copy.

Four days later and still no positive meaningful words from Labour, I am flabbergasted. It makes Witherspoon's stance even more heartening. The UK's answer to Harvard!
A trans woman wrote to Wetherspoons to ask which toilets they're meant to use. Wetherspoons replied acknowledging the Supreme Court's verdict...and that trans customers can use whichever loos they want to but to please lock the cubicle door.

The EHRC interim guidance is an outrageous and unjustified extrapolation/ misinterpretation of the recent SC ruling. The government needs to step in, take accountability and use its authority to restore trans-people's rights.

OK, so today happened. Can we now focus on making the whole of the UK a safe and welcoming space for trans-people? I want everyone to feel comfortable leaving their homes, being seen in public and being able to go to the loo without a whole lot of angst and grief. Can we make that happen next?
