This is a great commentary on the internet or something. Making it to the ocean is very relieving.

Okay, this is just fucked. Regardless of your preexisting opinions about sports gambling, this is both predatory and bad practice. It also highlights why it's bad to only have specific books available in states because it makes price shopping impossible, which would make this service pointless
DraftKings has launched a new $20 a month subscription service that “will give members increased odds on the types of bets that are most profitable for the company”
DraftKings Users Can Now Buy Better Odds Via Subscription
DraftKings' new Sportsbook+ subscription service will increase member odds for the biggest, longest parlays, which are best for company margins.

The reason Silicon Valley is so powerful and annoying is because Oakland lost their sports teams. Without raider fans acting as an apex predator the nerds became too abundant

Man Zarokh is such a better final boss to the sanctum mechanic in #pathofexile2 than Lycia. Takes a while to kill but most of his stuff is low damage so it feels a lot more fair, like you can actually fight him. Rather than needing to oneshot or die to some bullshit. #poe2

Man WiFi connected appliances would be so nice if they were open source. Just a raspberry pi inside with a simple webserver with code on GitHub. Unfortunately they're all made by capitalists so they suck.

Did NPR always suck or was i just a naive kid? Used to listen to them a lot growing up.
they like John Roberts and they want his judicial coup over our democracy to win so they help him with coverage
NPR just interviewed Sarah Isgur--& only Sarah Isgur--as an expert on John Roberts' End of Year Report. Though NPR mentioned Isgur's time in Trump's DOJ, they failed to mention Isgur is a former president of the Federalist Society. This is very relevant, given criticisms of the Roberts' court

Billionaires are way less than 1.36% of people but they seem to have full control of Democratic politics at the expense of literally everyone else. So before you pontificate about the size of a marginalized group facing discrimination, how about you shut the fuck up?
With utter respect: I am in full support of trans folks; delighted they are about and out, to be honest. But, 1.36% of people have been playing an out-sized role in Democratic politics at the expense of some very very important, other foci. Can this be agreed upon?

So, some very weird stuff is happening around this fight. Firstly, there is apparently going to be a new "AI judge" used for scoring the fight, but nobody knows who made it or how it works at all

This is from a Forbes article, more or less uncritically repeating PR from Ring

The NBA's Owner Problem is so bad the sport itself has become the stage of a proxy battle between two rival predatory mortgage lenders who hate each other & have been beefing for years. They both do crimes & ruin lives out in the open.

Another owner is Miriam Adelson whose life mission is genocide.
