Next time you see him, get him to nominate what supposed tech is moving so fast??? Not in Ao/NZ!
Spoke to Watts on his way into the House.

- He refused to estimate what it would cost the Govt to meet its Paris goal offshore (Tsy estimated $3-$24b) - said tech was moving fast.
- Refused to comment on the fact the price of carbon dropped immediately.

Thank you @mehr.nz for your continued mahi in raising this issue over and over again! Correct diagnosis, the government from the PM down are batshit crazy and totally scientifically illiterate.
I appear to have spoken to a reporter who took seriously the gravity of NZ's science crisis

does anybody have a newsroom pro subscription so that I can learn what other choice phrases I used on the record?

our govt wants to spend 327 times more on a single road ($18b) than they are currently spending yearly on all of basic science in new zealand ($55m) #nzpol
The Northern Expressway we were told would cost $10 billion is now priced at $18 billion, or six times the Cook Strait crossing we were told was unaffordable. This is fantasy stuff. www.nzherald.co.nz/northern-adv...

I've been fortunate enough to work with MOFs and macrocycles and know of Richard's brilliance in both fields! Still have a soft-spot for the Robson macrocyles and Schiff-base ligands!

Here's an example from my PhD inspired by Robson's earlier work:
