1 of our fosters had a ruptured abscess, so they went to the shelter yesterday to wait for the vet today. They have FeLV - a virus that acts like leukemia [explains what happened to poor little Soïg]. Now they're going to a medical foster before hopefully recovering enough to go to a rescue...(1/2)

Happy Yeeterus Day to me! 🤣 It's been 1 year since I yeeted my useless uterus (i.e. had a hysterectomy) & my spouse brought me this "lovely" cake. 🤭 There were… issues with the decorating. 😆 It's supposed to be my unhappy removed organs: R ovary, cervix, uterus, & L Fallopian tube flipping me off 🖕😝

Two of our semi-neglected houseplants are flowering at the same time, and I'm a bit perplexed as to how, since all I do is water them and make sure to turn them regularly in our kitchen window.
