Today is Indigenous Veterans Day, when we honour the First Nations, Inuit, and Métis soldiers who defended Canada while having to overcome many challenges, like learning a new language, navigating cultural barriers, and dealing with the ongoing harms of colonialism. Thank you for service.

It's National Seniors Day! Our aging population in BC continues to grow, and with this in mind, we funded a project in the Northern Health region that studied fall prevention measures in rural & remote communities. This work will shape policy & help provide regional programming to support seniors.
