I received a review request from a Frontiers journal. The mail included only accept and reject buttons for taking up the review, without any deadline information, or the manuscript itself (just abstract). When I clicked accept, it assumed accept (although revertible), due in 10 days.

How likely it is that you upload your paper to some LLM as if you are reviewer for it to get suggestions, you implement them to anticipate, and the actual reviewer down the line uploads it on their side to some LLM and makes the suggestion to reverse back to original?

I hear some of you using more "delve into" when you speak so as to defend its use in your texts. Cheaper than actually AI-cleaning your texts ex-post I suppose.

“Data is not available upon request”: the latest paper finding, of articles stating that data were available upon request, only 17%…shared data upon request. 😐 Seriously stop doing this. Put it in a repository while it’s fresh; it will only get *less* convenient to share as time goes on, not more.

"Most of the people who are successful are doing x" is not an argument for x, however frequent Harvard Business Review and the likes would repeat. You need to know the outcome of the alternatives to x. This is a statistical issue. Then there is "most of the CEOs are male" kind of issues.
