Spoke to a Venezuelan grandmother next to me on the train who was visiting her grandchildren in Canada through Google translate and my broken childhood Spanish and oh man, do I miss my grandma so bad right now.

Took the streetcar in the least convenient route to be able to listlessly appreciate some of the city before leaving for good. Big feelings for someone with a bunch of magic cards in their bag.

Gave my notice in at work and will no longer be commuting 4+ hours to Toronto for my inflexible job.
Took a job at the local cafe / bookstore and while I'm nervous, I'm excited to prioritize the health and happiness of myself and my family moving forward.
Feeling truly like a small townie now.
