Spending time blogging about football (soccer), maybe some gaming and anything else that I might fancy. (Expect mainly sports!)
Feels wild to me that teams get a 'project' manager in place and then bin the project so early. Seems to be rinse and repeat for a lot of clubs including Juve.

This new Fort Knox narrative is next level. At this point, it feels like people have got way too into a 'Tropico' save

Truly hilarious if this were ever likely to be true. Have to caveat that it probably isn't, given it's coming from SPORT.

Tone deaf use of 'asylum' as well. #RMFC

El Madrid se plantearía pedir ‘asilo’ en otra Liga
Lo descartó hace un par de temporadas al centrarse en la Premier, pero lo prohibía su normativa; tendría las opciones de sondear si puede ir a Francia, Italia o Alemania

City still look so chaotic defensively and playing out from the back without confidence.

Haaland still inevitable

I feel like #Grassroots men's football is dying and a lot of it is nothing to do with the leagues or County FAs and what not - a lot of it is attitude.

My team down here in the SW plays Step 8, 41 players registered and struggling to make an XI for tomorrow.

(We're 7th/18 btw)

What's the best clip of tactical analysis you've ever seen? Welcome any shares!

A lot of revisionist history now taking place in the Guardiola narrative.

Greatest of all time, undoubtedly in my eyes.

Bournemouth have gained loads of plaudits since Saturday, and rightly so – they were superb. But some of the talk of tactical tweaks almost suggests they don’t like to play like that; no, Bournemouth are Newcastle’s bogey team because they *love* to play like that… 🧵

Meet the Englishmen managing national teams abroad
England appointed German Thomas Tuchel but there is no shortage of English-born coaches in charge of national teams across the globe.

Hopefully, possibly, maybe some things coming in 2025 here.

For now, have a great Christmas and New Year, however you celebrate 🥂
