“How do we share…information…without…becoming part of spectacle” is an important question for journalists, but I’d adjust it to “without becoming a propaganda service for Trump and heightening racism.”

Cops have been doing this for ages and it's only gotten more violent and more legally punitive in the years since.
I thought the Occupy arrests were bad but they were a cakewalk compared to Philly cops trapping thousands of us on a highway, flooding it with tear gas, & shooting rubber bullets.

to be clear about terms, birth tourism is when you come to the US intending on a very short stay for the purpose of giving birth on US soil.
