Our friends in the Waterloo Concert Band (who organize the summer concert series at the bandshell -- Sundays @7pm) are hosting a Community Bandfest on June 22, from 1-8pm, featuring bands from across the Region.

Spend some time in the park to learn about native bees & habitat, get creative with pollinator crafts and relax with music from Sean McCammon, singing songs from his “A Bee CD”.

Activities take place in the greenspace beside the log house on the east side of Waterloo Park, off Young and Albert St.

The Waterloo Concert Band, who organize the Park's Sunday Evening concerts at the old bandshell each summer, are presenting their Spring Concert this Sunday, 2:00, at (the Park-adjacent) Knox Waterloo.

If you just want to get rid of your e-waste, we can take it off your hands and make certain it's recycled.

Smart Choice Electronic Recycling in Cambridge (smartchoiceelectronicrecycling.com) will take care of it and will make a donation to the Friends of Waterloo Park in support of our efforts.

Our friends at 4repairKW will be on hand to diagnose -- and perhaps repair -- any electronics you bring along.

Something still in good condition, but no longer needed? Perhaps they can wipe it, reset it, and get it to someone who can reuse it.
