I'm so torn. Do I go all in and make the biggest movie of my career, or shoot an ultra-low-budget version with up-and-coming actors and hope that it leads to a bigger opportunity next time? I really like this script.

Working on my horror script, Emigre. I’ve been cooking this one since 2018, and it feels like it’s the closest it’s ever been to being put into production. The movie is weird—niche horror for folks who like trauma and culty shit.

I really want a horror film to be my next project. I have a ton of ideas, but I’m so torn. Should I make a studio-like project to show studios they should hire me, or just create my weird, character-driven narratives that will fulfill me but leave me broke?
