The reason we hand those "prerogatives over to international bodies" is so everyone agrees on a common set of rules to avoid mistreatment in war.

Hard agree. When I worked in the Senate, we tallied calls and emails for every issue. Even if we were opposed to an issue, we tracked trends and heightened interest in everything. Also, use constituent services. I’m a huge advocate for how your reps can help you.
BTW, the thing about calling your reps is that sometimes (often) they still don’t do what you want. It’s still important to do anyway. We talk about not complying in advance and about not going quietly. This is a small, low-effort way of not going along that also sometimes changes their votes.

Idk who needs to hear this, but add miso or kelp broth to your Reishi Tea instead of chocolate/honey/sugar/Chai spice. Intense woody/ mushroomy taste goes amazing with a savory/salty profile and it just tastes like delicious soup instead of like someone put a handful of wood chips in your Chai...

I've found a lot of awesome edible mushrooms this season! So far I've been able to confirm Suillus/Boletes (slippery jacks) and Russula Brevipes (shrimp of the woods). There are some other ones but since such safe picks are so prevalent I've been mostly collecting these.
