One of the reasons Democrats need to get loud about things like this now is we need to start making the case for prosecutions now. You want to do it so people understand these crimes are happening now and aren’t something you magically find only when you’re in power.
The US Administration is now deleting its internal communications, in brazen violation of the Federal Records Act, in order to conceal its other illegal acts.

Trump administration plans to deport newly freed Kilmar Abrego Garcia to Uganda
The US government is seeking to deport El Salvadoran national Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who was wrongfully expelled from the US in March before returning to face detention in the US, to Uganda, his defence attorneys said Saturday. Abrego Garcia reportedly declined a plea deal that would see him deported to Costa Rica.
