So, Virginia has elected it's first woman governor, and the new vice governor is a Muslim Asian woman. I believe both are Democrats. Congratulations Virginia!

I had my annual Urology appointment Tuesday afternoon, still cancer free after two years! To celebrate, I bought the Target four pack last night. Of course, it didn't hurt that I saved $22.50!

Went for my annual CT scan yesterday, to make sure I'm still cancer free. My up front copay was usually $80, so imagine my shock when the receptionist told me it would be $225. Sure, let me pull that out of my ass!

I made a very happy discovery today. These Starbucks Frappuccinos have only ten grams of carbs. I love the full octane ones, but being pre-diabetic, I can't have them anymore. But, joy and elation, these little gelato ones are great!

In just five days, I will be turning 50. I never thought I would make it to fifty, but here we are. Know what the weirdest thing is? I haven't received any solicitations from AARP yet, and honestly, I'm a little disappointed.

This is the first time since I was diagnosed as Type 2 diabetic (I'm now pre-diabetic) that my sugar has been near perfect. I'm very proud of myself!

Ran into Frankenstein's Monster,
And caught me a whopper!
Although I didn't watch a lot of RID 2000, I do know that Sky-Byte loved haikus. The above was my first attempt at one since high school, so forgive me if it was crap.
