was just reminded of the first time i was invited to a pizza party at about age 6. i hadn’t had pizza before. It was explained to me that it was “bread with tomato sauce and cheese” and on paper that sounded like something i would not enjoy, but oh how wonderful to find out how enjoyable it was.

i liked reading about enron so i got a book about the corporate history of disney and, to my horror, the author is seemingly a big fan of disney with deep childhood connections to disneyland. you should only be able to write about a company if you hate them
