Poor Hoshoryu is kyujo! Anyone who's been following his activities knows his battles in the leadup to March... He shook off everything to come back and make Yokozuna in January, so it's a pity he will need to take time off but I am looking forward to seeing what he does in May.

We went there in 2018. We live in a sister city of Himeji & mentioned it at the door when they asked why we visited. One of the volunteers gave us a 3+hour tour of the site, so much information and stories!
It was completely free, such amazing hospitality. Worth multiple times the cost of entry!
