It's quiz time here again! Which means I get to stop and stare at some gorgeous samples! This is a nice chunk of Fossiliferous Limestone with some snail fossils! I don't have a locality or an exact time on this one, but it's likely to be mid-Paleozoic!

Happy #TrilobiteTuesday! This is the cephalon (head) of a Cambrian trilobite from Nevada I collected on an undergraduate field trip. It’s special to me because that’s the trip I realized I wanted to study paleontology on! 🧪

Someone was surprised to learn that I yeet bugs out instead of *gently relocating* them.
I appreciate the gesture. But in the tropics, seeing bugs where they shouldn't be is an hourly—not weekly thing. You learn what can survive a yeet to save time.
