I'm giddy and overjoyed to have won 1st prize in the Kathryn Bevis Memorial Prize. It was a privilege to be included on a shortlist packed with incredible writers, and I hope I get to read all of those poems at some point. Sincere thanks to the judges, I'm feeling very grateful.

Difficult... but the book I read and read the most this past year has been The Butterfly House by Kathryn Bevis.

I like poetry books because you can dip in and out, read and re-read a particular poem, etc. So works well for me.
