Have US airlines thought of using some of their money to pay ATCs to keep flights going?

Imagine if your mechanic said you needed to change your engine's belts and spark plugs for your car, and your car insurance said, "No, that's not necessary. You can have a low beam bulb on one side only, from our supplier."
That's the equivalent of the American Health insurance industry right now.

Anyone looking to buy Bosch appliances, don't! One dishwasher was subject to recall within 4 weeks, replaced with another whose control board fried after 4 years. When pressed for a replacement or discount on another, Bosch customer service told me "your case isn't going anywhere". Ok!

It would be great if there was a "common sense" summary of things like software "End User Licensing Agreements". Who reads and truly understands them before clicking "Accept"? Who needs software and then doesn't click "Accept" when they need to use the software?

If this is true, that the US national debt increased $2 Trillion since January of 2025, the US is in big trouble financially. This isn't free money; future generations will have to pay it.

Can we get a comparison published: [What single payer Healthcare would cost per person], compared to (what people pay with health insurance premiums & costs) + (their taxes together)? How do other first world countries do it? What are US health insurance companies' profits? (While we're at it).

@Samsung makes great mobile devices, but their appliances leave a lot to be desired: fridges that freeze, ice makers that don't make ice, gas stoves that have wonky dials, and burners that don't really guide flames. These are from the bottom of our fridge today, below the vegetable tray.

Has anyone done the math as to what our traditional "basket of goods" would cost if everything in it were to only come from the US?

Here's a harmless "challenge": get together with friends to make pizza from scratch, including rolling out dough, but you all have to wear black clothes, and see who can stay cleanest. The next challenge? You have spaghetti and meatballs, eat it with forks while everybody wears white.

I am in my fourth year of having solar panels, and don't regret getting them. We are ahead year-round, and knowing the air is cleaner and we are not burning anything to make clean energy is great. Progress! If leasing panels costs less than your electric bill, go for it. Here's my 2024 summary:

How come we never see anybody teaching music in those Disney movies? How do the characters all know how to sing in key, on time, and in unison?

I thought the price of eggs was supposed to be going down? This was today in Ohio, we've paid less than $3 just a month ago. Any thoughts here?

What would it be like if auto insurance acted the way health insurance companies in the US do?
Insurance: "I see you had a collision that wasn't your fault, and you need new bumpers and them to be re-painted, along with small fixes the manufacturer recommends...Yeah, you're getting a new bulb."
