Little blurry bc he was in motion, but this handsome man is Lasher. He loves swatting at people from inside his kennel, and is one of our kitties about to be transported to a shelter with more space! Transport partners are amazing in rescue, and can help so much. ❤️

Summer Tanager (Piranga rubra): This 17cm (6.7in) American songbird was originally considered a Tanager but has since been classified as a member of the Cardinal family. Breeding is normally in open wooded habitat in the southern US. Neat photo taken by Mark Watts in Alabama, USA. #tanager #wildlife
