Made a quick trip last week to the North Sulphur River. Very dry and in need of a good flush, but still lots of small, fun to collect fossils to be found! Found a nice enchodus tooth, a goblin shark tooth, and a small mosasaur verterbra. #northsulphurriver #fossils #mosasasur #sharktooth

Had a good day on the North Sulphur River - a very nice mosasaur vert! I just happened to look down when my girlfriend started digging into the wall and there it was! Even in dry and hot weather and a picked over river, there are still cool things to be found! #fossils #mosasaur #northsulphurriver

Spent the day at Post Oak Creek looking for shark teeth. Found several but the find of the day was a Pleistocene Era (ice age) bison toe bone! We also found a couple sea snails and the smallest shark vertebra I have ever seen. #fossils #Pleistocene #sharkteeth #postoakcreek #vertebra

Spent a morning this week in a tributary to the North Sulphur River. Best find was digging a Pleistocene Era (Ice Age) bison leg bone out of the wall. A few very well worn mosasaur verts and several small sea snails. #mosasaur #northsulphurriver #fossils #bison #iceage #snails

Another fun day in the North Sulphur River. Cool finds included the smallest and cutest baby mosasaur vertebra I've ever seen, an ammonite imprint, and a shark tooth from an extinct species of goblin shark which we found in a bank slide. #fossils #northsulphurriver #sharkteeth #mosasaur

Went to Davis Creek (trib to N. Sulphur River in Northeast Texas) on a specific quest for ammonites in the red zone. Found a little cute one and many other broken pieces. Picked up a nice mosasaur vertebra on the trek back to the bridge! #fossils #northsulphurriver

Catching up on a couple of our fossil hunting expeditions from last week in northeast Texas. Bones, ammonites, oysters, clams, baculites, sea turtle shell fragments, and petrified wood. Found a Native American drilled shell bead which is extremely cool!! #northsulphurriver #fossils
