Full movie, in English. If you haven't watched it through before, set aside one of these nights and add it to your list.

It's a classic that's as timely as ever.

When ICE agents questioned a group of 11- to 14-year-olds who’d just finished batting practice, their coach, Youman Wilder, stepped in. “I’m willing to die to make sure these kids can get home,” he recounted afterward.

Re: flooding in Texas.

During the wildfires in LA, it was infuriating to see folks from outside the city, region, state just jump in with their hot takes, conspiracy theories, & I told you so’s while folks were still trying to find their family members.

I join the Mayor, City Council, city leaders, union leaders, and community members in expressing my deepest outrage and concern at the immigration raids, militarized tactics, and terror experienced by Los Angeles.

We will not stand for this.

Polls hinting this madness has a limit, but none of that matters if we don’t actually stop him and his thugs from enacting authoritarian rule.

Find the disappeared, end these DEI purges, stop the raids & the tariffs, and most importantly - get this man out of office. We can still turn the tide.

24 years ago, the world became a dimmer place when we lost the brilliant light and spark of Leland Rioth.

As many of us remember him, and as we have passed on to our loved ones and friends since then, Leland was a thoughtful, forward thinking, inclusive, and fiercely supportive friend.

Just got off a call and I’m concerned about the number of voters who requested their ballots by the April 7 deadline and did not receive their ballots in time to vote in the Mid City West Neighborhood Council election.

When we’re already dealing with low voter turnout, this is just a mess.

Trump tried to bury this story on a Friday night, but it’s extremely important:

He’s planning to take land on the border controlled by the Dept. of Interior and sign it over to Dept. of Defense so migrants “would have trespassed on a military installation,” resulting in harsher punishment.

Going canvassing this afternoon for the Mid City West Neighborhood Council elections.

This local election is more important than one might think. The opposition is aligning themselves with MAGA influencers and there is a real threat that a new board will end important DEI efforts in this NC. (1/3)
