Excellent opinion peice on the benefits of ranked choice voting in Alaska. Key takeaways: it promotes collaboration and effectiveness in government, it requires candidates to consider all voters so it's much more representative of the people.

These trained and brave firefighters deserve our respect and need to be compensated fairly for their sacrifices. That, AND the ability to work as professionals after their release.

I need to embrace this space a bit more intentionally. While the idea of quitting socials entirely is compelling, I recognize that there's still a need for reasonable discourse. And memes. This place needs more memes.
