Yes, true... but we neither built the bonfire nor brought the match to light it. This is NOT ON US.
If I have any credibility with you from 20 years of reporting on rightwing & fascist movements, please listen when I beg you not to celebrate Charlie Kirk getting shot. Leave aside morality: this isn’t a match in dry grass, it’s a torch. We do not want what this could ignite & we would not win.

It doesn't matter if they are ever coming for you.

It was always ever already too much that they were coming for anyone.

EXACTLY. 🎵This is how we do it 🎵
This is a vital message: one of the larger reasons BlueSky is refreshingly free of alt-right shitlords is because in the early days we made a gentleperson’s agreement to starve these fuckos out and it worked. No likes, no quotes, no engagement. They got bored and left. Please keep the Old Ways.
Vice-President JD Vance confirms he has joined BlueSky.

Thanks, ma'am!
This is your regular reminder that executive orders are not royal decrees. Because America has no king.

It's true and obvious.
Let’s be clear. When the President defies the Supreme Court, it is the role of Congress to remove him from office. Full stop.

My two cents: we don’t abandon the Democratic Party. We remake it. It’s a good party. It just has bad leadership.

I can only add, "FUCK, yeah." You don't sashay to the front, you put in a little work first to prove we can trust you.
I keep hearing how we have to be nice to Trump voters who finally realized what a disaster he is. And, you know, fuck that. They have to be nice to us. They're the ones who fucked it all up. They have to prove that they deserve to be let back in with the civilized people.

That's it. That's exactly it. Your deep concern means zippo if you do nothing to change the balance of power.
At this point, if you're the rare Republican in Congress who opposes what Trump is doing, the only move you have is to switch parties or go independent and give Democrats the majority. That's it. You help Congress get its power back or you can fuck off with your outrage.

Just because Elon Musk acts like an unregulated toddler does not mean he is *actually* a child.
Today, the New York Post referred to Elon Musk, a 53-year-old man, as a “wunderkind.”

So Trump hurt America's relationship with Canada and made markets wobble all to "get" Canada to do things Canada had announced back in December in coordination with the Biden administration, do I have that right?

Contrast/Compare: Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) calls for recess appointments for Trump nominees, while Wisconsin Republicans in our State legislature have confirmed just 6 of Governor Tony Evers' 17 department heads over the past 7 years.

No, none of this will be "unprecedented." We know it because we saw it last time. It may be ineptly done (we hope), it may be viciously hurtful to our communities (probably), it may only benefit the oligarchy (yep.) But it ain't unprecedented.

🎵Chain chain chain... chain of fools...
The hatred against trans people is a distraction from the allegations of rape which is a distraction from the investigation into sex trafficking which is a distraction from the plot to end democracy which is only happening because Trump is trying to stay out of jail.
