That's the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children. Last time I checked (a while ago), every dollar spent on WIC produced over a dollar in savings *in the same fiscal year.* For most people, though, feeding infants and mothers is enough.

It was never about "criminals" at all. It's about scooping up as many brown people as possible, meeting arrest quotas, and getting video of them being herded on to planes. Just take a step back and imagine it in black and white but a railroad car instead of a C-17.

I have taken care of women who have required a D&C. I have seen the emergent situation to save their lives. It’s an uncomfortable conversation because it involves the word blood and miscarriage. Women will continue to die because of ignorance. These. Deaths. Were. Preventable.
