If you send me anything about a 24 hour general strike, I will simply assume you are a very unserious person.

I have been getting stuff about 24 hour general strikes once a month for the last 15 years.

Just admit you want a day off.

You don't get to tell anyone they're overreacting. They aren't coming for you. Take a seat.

Immigrants are the fabric of this nation, and so help me, if anything happens to the guys who run Tres Hermanos Nunez or Gyro King or Yen’s Bahn Mi, I’m going to toss every last republican into the sun.

The surgery I have been planning for over a year, had multiple appointments and consoltations about, and did my pre-surgery for this week, as the surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, just got denied by my insurance. Won't be able to talk to them about it until Monday, the day before my surgery. Neat.

I’m so tired of people pretending if you critique the liberals or the left so that they can create meaningful opposition in the future and stop being so fucking inefficient that means you’re saying “both sides are equally bad”.

I am begging yall to learn reading comprehension.

It’s $oliversnowcontent babes. Prime example of cis people trying to “help” without just asking us what would help.

If you want to be an ally, go shopping with a trans girl and protect her in the bathroom.
“oh my gosh cis girlies i know what we can do to help our trans sisters, we’ll just start using the men’s room!”

no. shut up. venmo every trans person you know $20 and then put your phone in the microwave and get off the internet forever.

I have never been able to go to a protest with my disabilities. I have to wait for the autism clinic to help me call or email my representatives. Most local meetings aren’t accessible for me to attend. But that doesn’t mean I can’t help make a difference.

Don’t expect a virtue signal from everyone.

Some people are doing quiet, behind the scenes work that requires them to shut the fuck up, and you are making that job harder.

If you want to be loud, that’s fine, there’s a place for it. But that’s not everyone’s place.

Trump pledged to cap credit card interest rates at 10%.

Today, I introduced legislation with Sen. Hawley to do just that.

We cannot continue to allow big banks to rip-off Americans by charging outrageously high credit card interest rates of 25 or 30%.

The revolution may need violence. That is a possibility.

But it also needs healers.
It needs gardeners.
It needs leaders.
It needs managers.
It needs cooks.
It needs farmers.
It needs tailors.
It needs educators.
It needs journalists.
It needs artists.
It needs builders.

You are not useless.

It is so strange to see people on your own side decide that empathy is weakness. It’s always the ones with “empath” in their bio too.
You choose mercy because you are weak. Youre incapable of doing anything about it and therefore err on the side of compassion.

Weakness does not make you good. If you were strong and compassionate, then maybe. Instead you just....are.

Enjoy your bluesky slam poetry sessions. Im going to organize.
