Godot's lightmaps are really pretty and fast as heck. A little bit of light bleed in the corners is nothing a wood beam or two cannot hide. 😅

Tonight I decided that I want my new personal website to be just plain HTML and CSS. Old school, tiny and simple. Two hours later I was coding a static HTML generator in Bash with a python dev server and hot reloading... I don't even know Bash well enough. I had to lookup how to make functions...

It's been 11 years since I last bought a new laptop for myself. I had to return my work laptop from my previous job so I had to buy a new one. It should arrive tomorrow and I feel like a kid again waiting for the baby Jesus to drop off presents. 😅

I'll be starting a new job as a web dev freelancer on Monday. I'm still nervous about it but the company I signed a contract with looks great and I will have a salary to be proud of. And since I'm now a freelancer I also made a step to be able to sell my games! I was always spooked of that a bit. 😅
