I've spent a lot of time researching ethics and climate impact of various products. Ironically AI makes that job a hell of a lot easier. Ethical consumerism is *exhausting* and more often than not, just checking for some cute green label doesn't really guarantee anything.

Elden Ring's world and visuals etc. are fucking A M A Z I N G and I love the exploration (esp. with reforged mod that rewards it) but if I wasn't playing coop (seamless mod), I'd never play it because I just find the mechanistic "if this, then that" souls-like gameplay boring. 1/3

I wanted to play an asshole run of The Alters but my second playthrough half-accidentally got a really good ending that left me feel way too warm and fuzzy to then ruin it :(

The Alters is great. On my second playthrough. First one completed with the usuals and Miner and Botanist. Second I got all of them, including TR (well, lost one). First run was challenging but I went by my authentic inclinations-as few alts as possible since i see the QC branching as abhorrent 1/2

Huh. This kinda would make sense in my experience. An argument can be made that I'm HSP and I always thought it odd that I've never had a psychotic episode, in fact it has almost been an issue when dealing with doctors. People think severe mental health issues MUST include psychotic symptoms.

Huh. This kinda would make sense in my experience. An argument can be made that I'm HSP and I always thought it odd that I've never had a psychotic episode, in fact it has almost been an issue when dealing with doctors. People think severe mental health issues MUST include psychotic symptoms.
Incidentally, this is exactly why I prefer my one measly like on a Lemmy post as I'm way more confident it was from an actual human. Fediverse could make an attempt. Even if not on a structural level, the communities within could try to keep it at bay, even if it means there's a smaller userbase.

Never in a million years did I think I'd be working with audio as much as I do. The unintended side-effect is that my hearing has become kinda sensitive and oh my god how I want good headphones... as it turns out the 200€ skullcandies aren't (except for bass juicing, which was the point but still)
